When I woke up, the boys were already headed off to school, but they got out early today since their winter break starts tomorrow. Joe went with Scott to service the vending machines in McKinney and I stayed home and relaxed. Little Angel cuddled all morning and had quite a long nap on my lap. I enjoyed a cup of hot cocoa while I typed. It was so nice to sit in a comfy bed for a while, it was just so relaxing. At one point I got a call from Joey and Scott saying that Anthony needed a dollar to get into his Christmas Party, so I had a little field trip over to the school in the nice fresh air. Joey and Scott got home around lunch time just as I was sitting down outside to eat my lunch. It is another beautiful day, so I was out their for that reason, but more importantly, to have some quality kitty time with Fuzzy. She is such a cute friendly kitty. The boys played outside for quite a while today both football and baseball. Later on, we got a chance to meet Michael's Aunt Julie and his cousin, Raven. Scott made chicken and dumplings for dinner, which as so good. Anthony, Michael, Julie and I went on an ice cream run to the grocery store and were very happy to find out that the really good kind of ice cream, Blue Bell, was on sale. So, we got 3 half gallons- yes real half gallons, not the reduced size! Between the 7 of us, we put a pretty good dent in the ice cream, that's for sure! For the rest of the night we watched a couple movies, and later on, Joey, Raven, Michael, and Anthony played some video games. A fun filled, relaxing day, topped off with ice cream- can't get any better than that!
